Trials

We highly recommend for all brides to meet with us prior to the “Big Day” to get acquainted and feel confident in achieving the perfect look. This will take approximately 1.5 – 2.5 hours per hair and/or make-up ser- vices allowing enough time to consult and try a couple different looks. Make sure to have images or a Pinterest board of hair and makeup styles to refer to and a photo of the dress.

Hair & makeup prep before your trial- Please follow our hair and make- up prep guidelines below to ensure optimum results and longevity.
All consultation’s and trial’s are done at our studio located in Leslieville, Toronto.

Products and Services

We use high quality professional makeup and hair products. All of our brushes and tools are sanitized after each client and service.

We offer highly pigmented, waterproof makeup for long lasting stability that will conquer those inevitable tears of joy! Our foundation is High Definition, designed to work with the camera for a flawless finish every time. Our strip and single lashes are natural hair and come in a range of styles.

Salon Services

We offer all salon services including hair colouring, balayage, no-bleach balayage, hair cutting, smoothing treatments and seamless extensions. Choose from semi-permanent or our halo temporary exten- sions by Glo Couture. (please inquire for more information)

Hair Accessories

Jaclyn Louise Designs and The Loved One Couture hair accessories and fascinators are made with Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, quality feathers and tulle. Choose from many colours and creative designs to fit your style and theme. We have a variety of hair accessories and fascina- tors and veils to choose from in our studio.

The Wedding Day

Our services can be provided at our private studio loft offering comfortable seating (sits up to 6) a powder room, mini fridge, natural lighting and a beautiful space to relax and enjoy a luxurious bridal pamper.

We always arrive on time, fully prepared with all the tools needed to set up at any location.
For larger bridal parties we have a team of professional makeup artists and hair stylists to assist as needed.
Our travel fee for locations outside of the Toronto area are calculated at half of the current gas rates, per km roundtrip from our studio address.

Hair Prep

We ask that any persons in bridal party or anyone requiring an up-do or hair styling (curls, waves) to wash and dry their hair the day before the wedding. Shampoo twice and use very minimal conditioner on only the ends of hair. Please rough dry with a blow dryer only and do not use of any other hair products or hot tools.

PLEASE DO NOT LET YOUR HAIR AIR DRY AS THIS WILL MAKE THE HAIR TOO SOFT AND HARD TO WORK WITH.

Please Note: If you have curly hair and would like it styled with your natural texture, we recommend to follow the same instructions as above but in this case you can allow your hair to air dry.

Makeup Prep

We require anyone receiving makeup services to come with a clean face/ canvas. Please do not use any serums, oils, or any makeup remover con- taining oils. For radiant results it is recommended to exfoliate skin the day before.

Want your skin to glow?

For optimum results we advise all brides to speak with our skin care specialist 4-6 months before the wedding to begin facials and a skin care regime to look flawless the day of.

With our level of experience we cater to all types of skin tones and hair textures. Whether you desire a natural, glam, funky, classy, or vintage look, we will accommodate everyones individual needs.

* Hair & makeup are typically timed at 1 hour per service for the bride and 45 minutes per service for the bridal party.

PLEASE NOTE

• Hair and makeup is priced at a 4 service minimum including the bride. (Please inquire for pricing of smaller parties)
• Our minimum fee for mobile services is $300+
• There is a 20% increase for mobile services, if the requested start time is earlier than 6am.
• Additional fees apply for locations outside the Toronto area and calcu- lated per KM, roundtrip from our studio address at half of the current gas rates.
• Lashes are an additional $10-$25 per set.
• The number of artists are booked based on the number of services.
• There is a fee of $200 for the request of an additional artist.
• We require all the wedding details and number of services to be con- firmed 2 months prior to the wedding date. If the number of services change less than 2 months prior to the date and are less than what was confirmed, will be subject to the owing balance stated on the letter agreement from the date of booking. (This does not apply to additional services)
• If requested, we will happily put together a hair and or makeup schedule prior to the date, however we will not be able to make any changes to it less than 2 weeks before the wedding date.
• If you would like to book an appointment on one of our closed days (Sunday-Monday) there is a 20% service fee added to your total
• There is a 20% service fee, If you would like to book an appointment be- tween Tuesday-Saturdays earlier than one hour before our regular business hours.
• Service fees may be subject to change if our service rates have in- creased from initial booking

Cancellation Policy

If the client for any reason needs to cancel our services after paying the initial fee, they will not be refunded.

If a L’une Beauty Boutique artist needs to cancel for any reason there will be another artist provided or the client will be refunded the 25% initial payment.
